The Mission of the Master Teacher

Updated: Apr 4, 2020

Jesus quoted the prophet Isaiah, when He said, "And they shall be all taught of God" (John 6:45). Isn't this a perfect mission statement for a Bible class teacher or a church education program? What more could we want than for all of our spiritual family to be taught by the Lord Himself? He will always teach sound doctrine without hypocrisy.

Bible class goal

Isaiah was proclaiming the faithfulness of God to the nation of Israel because of the covenant He had made with His servant, Abraham. In Isaiah 54, He encouraged the Israelites to rejoice because He was going to bless them greatly. In the midst of these great blessings, is the text from which Jesus takes His recitation: "And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children" (v. 13).

The Bible in Bits has adopted Isaiah 54:13 as its mission. If the resources here can help even one soul to be taught by the Lord, then it has been a tremendous success! Is this your goal as a Bible class teacher, parent, or mentor? Then join us as we build a community of honest students of the Bible!
